Collaborative project with Clayton Elementary
painting and woodblcok print on Tyvek
Shape Shifters Collaborative project with Clayton Elementary Invitation from MaryLynn Baird
Mrs. Baird invited me to work in collaboration with the entire student body of Clayton elementary. The students painted color and simple shapes on one side of the Tyvek material. I printed a woodblock on the other side, then transformed the prints into shapes, and installed in the foyer and throughout the main hallway in the school.
The shapes created are open-ended, to engage the viewers imagination, though loosely reflect a bird, a plane, or an arrow.
